Coaching vs. Tutoring: What’s the Difference?

While both coaching and tutoring help students succeed, they focus on different areas of learning. Tutoring is subject-specific, providing direct instruction to help students understand academic content (like math or science). Coaching, on the other hand, focuses on building skills that support long-term success in academics and in life. Students will end their time with me, having more confidence, and with tangible and practical strategies they can begin implementing right away.
